...The Keystone Cup!

This year's match was at least a little different for me... I managed to shoot it in something other than a drowning rain storm(like last year). Though it was more than damp enough, with relative humidity in the 75% to 80% range.

Ten stages of fire, with some interesting layouts. Since there were some blind stages and there's one more day to the match(for those registered for shooting it on Sunday), I'll refrain from describing the stages at this time. Suffice to say, I had a great time. Unfortunately, with range time restricted this summer(searching for the new house, and showings just happen to be mostly on match weekends), times were up. Three stages accounted for 3/4's of my "points down". Not pretty!

There's next year I guess...

PA State IDPA Match...

...is/was held at the Ontalaunee Rod & Gun Club in New Tripoli, PA. The club is situated off of PA state route 143(also known as Kings Hwy.) on Gun Club Rd.(appropriately!) in Lehigh County.

I believe the match was very well run and moved along very nicely(at least on Saturday morning, I can't speak for the rest of the match). In all, several clubs contributed SO's and personnel to make the match run nicely. Kudo's and thanks the the crews from Easton, Ontalaunee, Blue Ridge Cherry Valley, Blackwater(VA) and sundry others that have slipped through the fissures of my mind. I'd name some, but then I'd offend those that I'd inevitably forget/leave out and I'd prefer not to do that(besides, one may SO me in the future and, well you know...).

To those that shot the match, I hope your experiences were good and enjoyable! I look forward to next year's match!
