My gunsmith took apart my pistol and could find nothing wrong with my Witness in 10 mm auto other than admiring the craftmanship..:D:D:D:D
Very smooth feed ramp, no burrs in the chamber or breech face....everything looks apparently perfect...
He thinks that could be just a break-in adjustment and he suggested I should go through 2 or 3 boxes of ammo and see what happens...
Could be something wrong with the magazine....if the gun keeps jamming up I have no choice than send it to EAA customer service for extensive testing to resolve the problem....wish me luck!!!

I know you're not made of money, but if you can afford it, go on EAA's website and get the 3-mag deal for $75. Then order a three-pack (or two) of Wolff +10% power springs for them. This cured my woes. You might also want to invest in a stronger recoil spring from Wolff -- say in 18-lb range.

I either missed or forgot your original description, but I have an EAA compact, polymer in .45 that jammed quite a bit. I replaced the mag springs with Wolff +10 percent and it hasn't jammed again.

EAAs typically come with a recoil spring that is too strong. On another one (that wasn't jamming, but threw brass 25 feet) I went down four pounds on the recoil spring and still get excellent performance, but it's leaving all my brass in a nice little circle about six feet away.

If your gun is failing to return to battery you need a stronger recoil spring.

If your gun is mechanically fine then the problem is either mag springs, recoil spring or both.

I have a Para-Ordnance that was jamming like crazy. I replaced the mag springs with Wolf and put in a two-pound heavier recoil spring and it is now flawless.

A really good place for EAA Witness specific info in a forum is: http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showforum=159

Henning supplies many custom parts and accessories for Tanfoglio (EAA Witness) USPSA shooters. He shoots Tanfoglios in competition and hosts the Web site.

Remove the extractor, bevel the bottom of it, and then polish it. Get extra power mag springs from Wolff. This has cured all of the 10mm Wintess' I've dealt with, two of my own included.
