Para P12-45 trade for my Para LTC 9mm?

I have a Para LTC 1911 in 9mm. A guy wants to trade me a Para P12-45 for it straight up. I love the idea of the little 12-45 but is this trade worth it money wise?

I would keep the 9mm just on ammo savings alone Besides you trading a pistol you know works for one you know nothing about.

If you've got one that works, keep it, IMO.

If it's an old/canadian 12-45 and it works, it might be worth the trade for you.

But I'd rather have a known working pistol in my possession, particularly considering para's reputation of late (I've owned 2 canadian P14-45s and they have been flawless for me FWIW).

Para P12-45

Just my 2 cents worth, but if your going to have a 1911, it should be a 45 version. But it all boils down to what you think/want to do.
