The SHARE Act is an omnibus outdoors/sportsmen bill that would expand access to federal land for hunting, fishing, and recreational shooting as well as eliminate the excessive tax on suppressors.

This website has been set up to provide a channel for the sporting and gun-owning communities to make their voice heard by Congress: www.shareourtradition.us

Sign up and show your support. Then, share the unique link generated for you on social media in order to earn a spot on the influence leaderboard on the bottom of the page.

The community has been trying to pass the SHARE Act for several years now and we finally have a chance. Check out the website and add your voice. #SHAREOurTradition

So, who in particular is your organization lobbying with as far as the SHARE Act legislation (i.e. who are the political prime-movers we need to be pestering)? Or is this just generic electronic signature-gathering? There's not a whole lot of info at all on your website (or a link to the bill, even), and I can't see who you all are affiliated with. For instance, what exactly happens should I submit my name & email; what message is sent to what political figure, or what statistic/number am I contributing to & where will it be displayed?

I mean no disrespect, it just pays to look into who's actually involved with any advocacy/charity group & what they're doing these days.

I want to remember this was approved by the house a few months ago, and near-immediately quashed by the lilly-livered Senate.

HPA keeps being added to things and then voted back out again. But, there's not much hope that the Senate would have the spine for it right now.

@SHAREOurTradition, who put this site up?

@CapnMac, I'm not even remotely surprised the Senate would do that. Would you have a link to the news? I googled it, but am getting a lot of false positives. Thanks.

Would you have a link to the news?
Sadly, I do not.
Given the number of news sources I watch, that I can keep any of it straight is a near miracle.

If I remember the history correctly, SHARE got through the House but was killed in Committee in the Senate.

SHARE looked like it might have had appeal, since about 2/3 was targeted at 2% hunters. Except "hunting" seems to scare the RINOs.

my security software is blocking Share's website. Be careful if you venture there, friends.
