I was thinking of buying a Gibbs .303 extreme quest. After reading about the posts about Gibbs, I declined even though the owner claimed it was a very good shooter. I have a no5 mk1 that has been sporterized and will just try a scope mount.
I have a fondness for the lee enfield bolt guns as their action is slick and very fast. My no5 shoots very well and I can get 100 yd. groups in the 2 to 3" range with open sights. No problems with the "wandering zero".
