I talked with Pat today, he is not making guns an issue in his campaign since Oakland is very anti gun, but he is definitely on our side and he feels change is needed. In his words, he doesn't believe in "P***** footing around".
We need to help him in whatever way we can, for those who are not in Califorina, visit his site and send him a donation.
The SF Bay area is the breeding grounds for gun control measures. If gun control measures can't get support in the bay area, it makes it easier for you guys in the rest of the country to defeat local gun control measures in areas where the political climate is more centrist.

The Heller case will hopefully be the "Waterloo" or "Stalingrad" for our opponents.
