Paterson nipple wrench

I don't have the catalog right at hand, but Dixie would be my first guess. Of course the repro just copies the original and I have made a nipple wrench for the original; it wasn't hard, just a bit tedious as I got to the hand work.

LL0708 Paterson Loading Tool (For Uberti) $65.00

Works on Uberti’s Paterson revolver only! Differs from other brands because of the unique shape of Uberti Paterson nipples. Instead of the typical two shoulder style nipple as used on most revolvers, the Uberti Paterson’s nipples have a four shoulder design. This tool is made specifically for those nipples. It will not work with other Paterson revolvers and will not fit other revolver nipples. This tool is a must for removing nipples from the Uberti Paterson revolver.

Found it!

Found some at Taylor's - well, I didn't, a friend did. $53 & some change delivered. Ordered one last week & got it today. Thought I'd post a few comparison photos of the new Uberti tool and a tool that came with my Navy Arms/Pietta Paterson from 1983.

First photo showing the two side by side. Uberti on the left. The Uberti is slightly larger and heavier than the Navy Arms one.

Anothe picture of them side by side. Uberti on the bottom:

Here is a picture of them with the cap off. You can see that the Uberti on the left is beefier than the Navy Arms tool on the right.

Here's the money shot. Again, Uberti on the left. The cap threads were smooth and even on the Uberti tool. The Navy Arms was a chore to unscrew because of very rough cut threads.

Taylors still had a few of these on hand when I ordered mine last week. When they're gone, they're gone & according to Uberti - there won't be any more.

Fingers,
Thanks for the heads up on the nipple wrench. I just ordered one to go
with my Uberti Paterson. My Pietta Paterson has the 2 sided nipples.
Neither pistol has been shot yet but I am working on my Pietta so I can
shoot it now and again.
