. Looks like those Pecars are worth more than I thought. Although the book is very informative, and covers a lot of old scopes, You have to take those value estimates with a grain of salt. Some folks won't pay anything for an old scope they probably never heard of, but some folks who are familiar with them may be interested in a "period correct" scope for a rifle from that era, (1959- 1961, according to the author). That book was published 20 years ago so who knows what turns the used scope market has taken since then. It's a cool old scope for sure and according to that book, even Jack O'Connor praised them back in the 1950"s.
