I have one of these and am having problems with it. The gun only strikes the firing pin about once out of ever 4 to 5 trys. I managed to fire one round out of it and bust 5 or six caps before sending it to Lee shaver in MO. He is the authorized repair person in the USA. The hammer falls ever time but the firing pin fails to strike the cap at all when it dosent fire. When it fires it strikes the cap very well. I bought the gun off gun broker from a gun smith in NY. He told me it was had never been fired but had been purchased by one of his friends on empulse and never used. To be fair he has offered to fix the gun but I had already sent it to Shaver because Pedersoli told me he was the only authorized person to work on them. I am hoping the repair is simple, however the only threads I have found were gripping about defective guns, except Toby Keith's article about them which probabley was basis. Shaver has had the gun for a month and a half and I have heard nothing about what the problem is yet. It has been a bummer to say the least and I am wishing I had bought the break open lyman at this point. Wish I could be more positive, but some times you just got to call them like you see them.
