Pellet loaders?

I use the pellet pen in .22. It works as advertised. Comes in handy when I'm counting shots when shooting groups.

My thoughts exactly.

.177 pellets are hard to handle quickly when a squirrel is making a get away!!

That's the same one I linked in the OP, only in .22.

Looks good enough to try, but the shipping is almost as much as the pellet loader!!!!

$9.95 is reasonable.
But $7.99 shipping on top of that isn't!! (Total = $17.94)

It's a concept that was actually fitted to the gun at one time, a magazine for break-barrel rifles.

I have an old Gamo AirShot "survival rifle" (that's what it's labeled as) that has a 25-round tubular, spring-feeding magazine mounted right behind where the barrel/breech "breaks" when opened. Each time the gun is opened and closed, a pellet is inserted into the breech from this tube, which is itself held in place with a spring in the mount.

I wonder why more break-barrel guns aren't being equipped with these. I've only heard of two: this one and another, which I believe was also a Gamo product.

Well, I'll soon know.

I lucked out and found it on my free Amazon Prime 30 day trial.

Got one for $10.85 with free 2-day shipping!
Supposed to be here Saturday!!

Full report coming!

Got it this morning.
And it works exactly as advertised.
(Except it holds 20 pellets, not 17 as stated in the advertising. )

The tip end of the pellet protrudes out the front of the loader just enough to get it aligned with the chamber.

Then you just click it one notch and the pellet is at least started in the chamber,
You may have to finish seating it all the way with your thumb nail.

I've been using one for a while with my Stoeger. My experience mimics what RCModel has stated. Starts the pellet, you finish seating it. Doesn't work with my AirForce Condor though.

Follow up.

After using it a week, it works even better.
Practice makes perfect!

I can load and seat the pellet with the next pellet perfectly about 90% of the time now!

Just took me a while to get the hang of it.

Interesting, I will give one a try. I agree that handing the .177 pellets can be difficult.
