Well, this isn't good.....but this could be a case to eventually work it's way to SCOTUS and be good if Amy Coney Barrett is on the bench.

The court also rejected the defense of the law as part of the federal government’s power to govern interstate commerce. A gun being sold across state lines at some point “does not give Congress perpetual authority to regulate any harm it may cause,"

If this were to stand, would it not imply the federal government has no authority over any firearms after the first sale? We can saw off barrels, add fun switches, etc., dispense with the “instant” background check on used gun sales?

Wait, is that a state or federal court that made the ruling? Definitely a case that probably needs to make it to the Supreme Court eventually.
