to get that Ted Kennedy and anybody who thinks like him,out of office. Thats where your problems lie. As soon as the elected anti's start seeing each other go down over it they will change their tune, quick like.

Thats what you can do.

But now we're stuck with him for what? Another 6 years?

We are stuck with Teddy the K (D-Chivas) until 2006. It is sort of an amazing time for him to be facing re-election. He is an absolute bloviating fool at the public podium these days. We elected a Republican governor, Mitt Romney, but this last election the sheeple here stacked the deck with even more Democrats in the legislature. :banghead:

He is too old and drunk to run again, but no one will oppose him. He would get reelected even if he chose not to run...

You know, I confused him with our Dodd. HE"S the one we're stuck with for another 6 years(?) I'm not sure how long his term is, I think it's 6. Anyhow I at least had the pleasure of voting against him.

It will even MORE pleasurable to vote against Lieberman when he comes around. Him we might be able to beat out. Not too many people happy with him after his 2 prez election bids. "Delusions of Grandeur" is how we describe those (especially his second bid). Actually, I was indifferent to him until he whined and cried so much after the first time with Gore. My other hope is that he gets kicked upstairs (which is what he wants) and our Republican governor posts someone more favorable to our RTKBA.

Both Dodd and Lieberman ticked me off for voting to sabotage the bill on freeing the manufacturers from liability for the misuse of their products (by attaching the AWB extension. I emailed them both as well as Feinstein and asked if someone kills somebody with a shovel does that make the shovel manufacturer liable? Lieberman sent no reply, Dodd sent an Electronic form letter back and Feinstein's system rejected my email because I'm not from her district.

Meanwhile Representative Bob Simmons (R) Responded with a personal letter and assured me that there was no way an AWB extension was going to make it through the house.

Anyhow, Good luck in your efforts to elect a more gun favorable Gov't there Mass.

Oh well, sorry I rambled off the path once again. But I do feel better, thanx for listening...

It is good you aren't in Worcester. The Chief there says he won't be issuing any Lawfull purpose LTC's. I used to live in Southbridge and they did not issue me for all lawful purposes either. I now live in Dudley which is not too far from you Rockrivr1 and they have always conducted themselves professionally. They have never harrassed me with lots of personal questions. I have had an LTC for over 30 years now and I also carry expensive equipment with me for some of my work so there was no problem with getting for all lawful purposes. I just renewed and it took less than 3 months. There is a grace period again but the sooner you can start the process the better, just in case. Sadly they did not have the new system up and running so my new license is still too big for my wallet but at least it is good for 6 years. I also recommend joining GOAL. Try to find other people in your area that have an LTC and ask them how the Chief in Uxbridge is. Also don't forget that you have to file a change of address with I believe the state and the police in Uxbridge and possibly the town you moved from. If you have not done this you could have some serious problems. Good luck and let us know how it goes.
