picked up a nice early colt cobra today.

Got a call from a friend today who told me a pawn shop had a colt cobra they had just put out. He said it was like the one I carried with the brown plastic grips and he said he did not think it would last long.

I went right over and found a real nice 95% 1952 colt cobra for $250 out the door.
So now I have a detective special I thought it was the same year but in checking out the serial number on the cobra which is 1952 the DS is 1953.

I think I owe him lunch!!!

I actually carried it today. I use a bianchi belt holster and since the its the same size as my DS it worked out well. I really noticed the weight difference.

I paid $225 for a Cobra that was really roached cosmetically (mechanically great) and thought it was a great deal.
