I don't want to spend a fortune on glass but I do want quality. I will be shooting at a maximum of 300 yards. Here is what i am thinking so far

Bushnell Elite 3200 5-15 X40
Burris Fullfield II 4.5 - 14 X 42
Sightron 4.5-14x42 SII
Vortex 4-12x40 Viper Rifle Scope

Pros and cons of these selections? Any other suggestions? Suggestions for rings?

i have the 3200 10X on mine but i havnt shot it any more than 150 yards yet, pretty good glass for the price.

Local Gunshop here in Northwest Arkansas. He has several in both
.308 and .223 for $584. PM if you want their info.

the bushnell elite 3200 10x is good and can be had for less than 200

The nikon buckmaster is a variable 4-14 and can be had around 250. both are decent

I would go with the Super Sniper 10x with or without side focus. It's hard to beat at the price and the turrets are more precise and repeatable. Otherwise the Sightron is probably your best bet.

I just finished my SPS Tactical .308, using a Super Sniper 10x w/side focus. Base mount is the Leupold One Piece QR with rings to match.

The scope tracks very well and the rifle doesn't shoot to bad either.
