I posted this in revolvers by accident, and I am now moving it over to the right spot.


I searched all over the internet and couldn't come up with any pictures of Hennings's grips on a gun, But I bought them anyway and now I am posting the pictures. The regular grip width measured out 1.35 inches, and Henning's grips reduced it to 1.2 inches. They fit on nice and tight and the thinner grip is super, I just wish they were longer. they expose some nooks and crannies the factory grips covered up. I also with they were made of plastic and cost $40. But all in all, I'm pleased, and if you can get ahold of henning he's great to talk to.

PS: you need to buy the Henning's torx screws. the factory screw heads are too big for Hennings's holes. Or you can try turning your heads down or going to the hardware store.

Hey those look nice! The witness match is definitely one of the prettiest guns in my book. Personally do you think it's worth the money? i had been debating on these myself. Do the benefits out-weigh the drawbacks?

So these are aluminum, NOT plastic right? Regardless, great purchase! And thanks for finally posting pics, i had been trying to visualize these grips on it as well. :)
 
yes, they're aluminum. Worth it.......... well I really think the improve the grip Much thinner and the checkering is pretty aggressive. They make it easier to reach the mag release too. I've got medium to large hands and thought the EM was just too big. these drop the grip size down to 1911ish size proportions. I really do wish they were bigger, and cheaper, so I guess it's your call. Henning is the only guy I can find who makes a replacement grip for a full size witness. (the cz-97 grips do not fit according the the czcustom guys)
