I am considering a Cozy Partner for my S&W M&P9 and would like to hear comments by anyone experienced with this holster.
Quality, comfort, ease of reholstering?

I have one for a week or so for my PM9. It was a decent off the shelf holster, but I found the belt loops too floppy, as was the sweat shield. But then with your body type, and lack of love handles it might work better.

I just ordered one yesterday for my M&P compact. I should have it early next week. I'll give you a review when i get it.

I guess I won't have it this week. When I ordered the holster thier website said it was an in stock item and would normally ship in four days. I emailed them last night to ask for a tracking number and they said they will send me one when my order is shipped. So eight days and it hasn't been sent yet. :( I'm not down on Desantis really, they may have a good reason (though I wasn't given one), I am just anxious to get my holster. I don't have one that really fits my M&P. I bought and modifed an Uncle Mikes kydex paddle that works but it doesn't conceal well enough in this warm weather. I'll let you know the verdict if and when I get my holster.

I got my holster today. Like I've read the "sweat" flap is a little flimsy. I'm not a heavy sweater so I trimmed it down. The holster is a little softer than expected. It doesn't stay open 100% when you try to reholster but it does stay open enough to not be too much of a fuss reholstering. It seems very comfortable. I'll wear it this weekend and I'll give you more info on Monday.

Oh and its not exactly molded for the M&P. Its actually a holster molded for a Glock 29, 30, 39. It fits well but for 70 bucks I think I would rather it was molded for my gun.

I carried my M&P in my new Cozy partner over the weekend. Very, very comfortable and stable holster. Some of my pants are a little more snug now with the extra bulk of the M&P and the leather as I normally would carry my Keltec P-11 but I would rate this holster very highly. I wish it was a touch stiffer around the mouth to make reholstering a little easier. I don't like having to wiggle a light trigger pull, striker fired gun without a safety into a holster. Its a good way to shoot yourself in the butt!! Its OK now but I'm afraid it might loosen up over time in which case I would lose confidence in it. I'm not ready to replace it yet but if I do I will most likely get a Comp-Tac or other good kydex holster or some other one that has a stiffer hold open. Who knows, perhaps this one will hold up just fine.
