IMG_1605.JPG Hey guys.
Im having a problem.
The POI is lower than POA.
When align top of front sight to the top of rear sight, my shots is going to low. To accurate it I have to modify my AIM. The base of front sight to the top of rear sight.
I have to get up a little the nose of gun like the picture.
Is it a hard grip problem for this gun?
Im shooting 40 yards from target.
I know its not a accurate pistol, but when I change the way of AIM the POI and POA comes nearly.
Thanks.

How much lower is poi?

40 yards is a stretch for a 25 acp. Not because of the cartridge buy because of short sight radius and tiny sights.

If you can hit anything consistently at 40 yards with that thing, you are so much better than I am that I should keep my mouth shut. But I will second that Berettas usually require a drive the dots type of sight picture and tend to be sighted in at 15-20 yds, so I would expect it to shoot low at 40yds.

I'm pretty sure I never shot my Jetfire at 40 feet, let alone at 40 yards! I think the OP is really stretching the capabilities of both gun and ammunition with that distance. I would say scale it back a little bit, more like 20 to 30 feet and then see what kind of groups you're getting.

Come on. I know you guys are expert on it. This is the reason why I'm asking you help.
I'm just a newbie (laugh).

Thanks you all.

A pistol like that is a last-ditch gun, made for very close-range use, maybe arms length where an eye or face shot would be needed. And considering the .25 Auto's lack of stopping power, running away (if you can) would be even better. The 25 Auto sometimes even fails at suicide attempts.
If you want to shoot at 40 yards, you need a larger, more powerful gun with a longer barrel & better sights.

As others have said, the sights should be dead on at 5 to 10 or 15 yards. The sight alignment you show at 40 yards is about right for that distance. If you have good eyesight and a steady hand you should be able to hit a soda can more times than not at that distance. The 950 is a very accurate little gem.

Hi.
Something about 1 1/2 maybe 2 feets.

25 ACP is not a particularly flat shooting round but the drop shouldn't be 2 feet at 40 yds. Let us know how it shoots at 15 and 25 yards. I suspect you might be mashing the trigger making the rounds strike lower or not aligning the sight properly.

FWIW, I tried shooting a qual course with my Jetfire about 12 years ago. This course included shooting from 25 yards. I was able to max the course and most of the rounds hit within a 6" group.

These guns are really pretty accurate. The tiny sights makes them hard to shoot.
