Apparantly the Jeff Fraler, the president of the Police Benevolent Assosciation, stated that police shouldn't give fellow cops tickets; and that it's been union policy not to do so. The "blue line" strikes again. This just goes to show where members of the PBA stand on the Us vs Them argument. It think Jeff proved that we "normal citizens" should be concerned with the quality of police in this nation

Police Benevolent Association

Scratching my head on this one. Is this sort of a mafia controlled union for JBT's?

I've never known the PBA to be anything more than a toady "amen chorus' for status quo (anti RKBA/CCW) politicians. They routinely try to extort contributions from the citizenry in return for a little window sticker they imply will get you a 'pass' as one of the 'good guys' for minor infractions.

If you're looking for a real 'police benevolent asociation', I'd send my money to LEAA [www.leaa.org], JMO.
