This article begins with statistics concerning worldwide terrorism deaths but ends with U.S. population and murder rate. As the gun ownership rate has grown the murder rate has dropped, which puts a monkey wrench in the argument that more guns equal more crime. The surprising statistic to me was the growth in U.S. population since 1995. That is not sustainable without causing a deterioration in the average quality of life in this country in my opinion.
