I'd like to improve on the delivery of the idea.

Top: stop after "would be shot."

Bottom: I would remove the words "Naturally," and "Prospective"

Another thought (perhaps for another poster.) Two pictures. One as shown above the same girl cowering behing a grcery shelf?

"Which victim does a terrorist prefer to see? Gun Free Zones = Free Kill Zones."

nice poster oleg! do you circulate these elsewher aross the internet? out in the real world anywhere? if i had a store front, i would post them in the front door area, but i do not work anymore. we need to get some of your work out to the general public if it is not already.

Spot on!

As mentioned, brevity and a bit more focus on the background, but not so much as to take away from the main character.

Nice! I like the surplus CZ, big to carry CCW, but certainly makes a great visual image.
I agree, background a bit brighter, maybe a railing behind her to "place" her in the mall, but great idea!

I would use a Gun that has been on Main stream Media (Glock) That way we can try to Defuse the Assault Weapon Bull Pucky.

Mirror the black to red gradient in the bottom band with a green to black gradient at the top. Armedandsafe had good suggestion for edits to the copy, rag it to two lines and increase it's size slightly, maybe add a little lead or go to all caps rather than small caps . Remove the green boarder around the image, let it crop off. Focus a tunnel blur around the model's face, hand, and gun (add more action/suspense/shock). Possibly vignette the image (black overlay/multiply). Everyone's a designer on the internet, but some of us do it for a living. :)

Agreed on both eyes open, I would also use a single color scheme. The transition is a little distracting.

Upon second look, she needs to get her dark roots taken care of. Looks a tad unkept for the message.

(jeeze i hope she's not your kid) :uhoh:

This one is good, but one would have to presume this is in response to the India bombings.

To make it more direct, have a top quote by Ghandi
Among the many misdeeds of the British rule in India, history will look upon the Act depriving a whole nation of arms as the blackest.
Picture from India attack
and a closing quote from the photographer:
I wish I'd had a gun, not a camera. Armed police would not fire back.

If the point is to convey to the gun-ignorant public that CCW is a positive enhancement to their own safety and security, I think the poster has the opposite effect. It's message is obscured by the visceral discomfort of looking down the barrel of a gun. The image of a gun pointed in your direction does not give one a warm and fuzzy feeling.

Turn the model around, have a toddler clinging to her coat tail, and place a menacing terrorist silhouette in her line of fire.

.......Mike
