Does it make you a little nuts when you keep read the same post on Glocktalk, The Firing Line, and then on The High Road. I think most of us check those forums and a few others. Once is enough. Thanks for the rant.:banghead:

You posted this on DU too didn't you :)

But yes it's pretty annoying.

I fixed that by just not going to any other forum except THR unless I have some dire need.

My favorites are the guys that are mad at a company for some reason and post their hate mail everywhere.

There was a guy last year or so that blew up an FM Five Seven handgun with his crappy reloads and he posted EVERYWHERE about how dangerous FN was, how they were ignoring the safety issue, etc.

Eventually FN got the gun and duplicated the explosion with a double charged round, sent the guy a letter AND a new handgun just to be nice.

Did he post anything retracting his rants? Of course not......a couple of FN reps had to post their side of the story just to get it cleared up.

It may be annoying, but if I had a serious question and was a member of different sites, I would post on all of them. It's not a big deal to me.

I don't like the practice either, but for a different reason.

I make the choice on what information I need and want--and that's why I'm a member at certain forums. Yes, I'll make similar post at KF and at THR. And those are the guys I wish to talk to.

There are at least three Harley forums and one knife forum where I'm not even sure the guys own bikes and/or knives. Their conduct and misinformation is an embarrasment, and that's why I'm here, that's why I moved in the first place.

If you find a thread or create one in another forum suitable for that type of audience, then leave it there.

Why would I be remotely interested in the ramblings of a guy who cannot sharpen his own knife, believes the "F" word is an adverb for everything he touches, while he pretends to own a Harley?
