Does anyone have loading data for pb powder I’ve got 5 lbs in 8 oz cans unopened sitting on back of powder cabinet. Hopefully can be used in pistol cartridges. Old manuel was lost and cannot find any data

First off welcome to the forum.
If you tell us what caliber and bullet/weight you are using it might be easier to help. Marvinstewart.com has older reload manuals in PDF format for downloading.

I have 40 year old Hornady and Sierra manuals that have some data for PB-- tells us which calibers and I'll post some up.

I feel like this is deja vous all over again or either I am living in a virtual simulation.

Unless you asked this identical same question on other forums and I've seen it there and already answered it perhaps ... with pics I posted right out of some of my old reloading manuals?

If you'll share your caliber .... was it 38 special? Weird.

Yeah, anyways, share your caliber, projectile weight, bullet make and model, etc., I guarantee we can help you.

I've been shooting PB in both .38 and 9mm with good results. I was a little dis-appointed at Hodgdon's website. Their 9mm load recipe was rather poor. They show a recipe of 125 gr LCN at 3.4 grains of PB. My cartridges fired fine, but I had troubles getting them to eject consisstently. I shoot a Springfield large frame XDM. Let me know what caliber and bullet size and I'll try to match a decent recipe for you.
Looking back to an old IMR manual, I figured I could bump their recipe a little bit. I brought the load up to 3.8 grains and now my gun recycles just fine. I am shooting MBC 125 grain powdered coat. The current Hodgdon recipe has velocity at 975 fps. When one gets over a 1,000 fps, barrel leading becomes an issue. I have been checking for pressure signs and have found non using both Standard and Match primers. Next time I go out I chronie these loads just to see how they rate.
