Was going to order some powder and primers this afternoon and initially had some items in my cart then I get nothing but a blank page for the past 3 hours. Anyone else able to access their site. Really needed some American Select shotshell powder.

I had to switch from a secure connection to a non-secure connection (https to http).

Make sure that your browser is using http://www.powdervalleyinc.com/ for the address rather than https://www.powdervalleyinc.com/

I'm able to get in intermittently with IE browser using the http connection but not at all using my Firefox browser.

Well I found a way to get to their site.

I use the private window in my Firefox browser and use the http address, it's worked a half dozen times now so it looks like a dependable workaround.

They had some nasty weather yesterday evening. It may have caused some issues?

I used to do IT work and I'd suspect that either their server or router or their ISP's server or router had an update installed and either the update or the hardware configuration has a problem.

Thanks guys, got through on Internet Explorer, I run Firefox as my default browser. And $900 later, ought to keep me going for a bit for my shotshells.

On their facebook page they were talking about a couple of tornadoes that touched down right next to them. They are ok but I would not be surprised if their power (in the entire area) is a bit spotty right now.

I just got a failure to resolve the URL.

Every time this has happened to me in the past, the site was either under a Denial of Service (DOS) attack or the company had gone out of business.

What browser are you using? I am using firefox, and I just get a white screen.

Just tried ie and chrome and it's working. Must be a firefox plugin, or just firefox.

I had access until I clicked on some of the links that were posted. Thankfully I had it saved somewhere else, because I recieved a white screen also and I was just on it before I clicked on the link provided by a couple members.
So I looked at my saved bookmark and the ones on the site here and found that the ones on the site here are a secure (private) site vs my saved bookmark (using a kindle), which is not secure until I get to payment, then the https shows up.

Just tried on my iphone, got the webpage to pull up. I dont know why the switch in the pages though, security wise. Was the website supposed to go to a purely secure page vs general page then secure for ordering

Even when I type in the none secure site address my tablet tries to reach the https:// site and it won't come up.

Edit nope... My saved one was working but as soon as I did a google search and tried the HTTPS it won't work now.. AT ALL Thanks guys!!

Edit edit.... ok got it working. On the upper right hand of my chrome address bar there was a little notification that said I could load "unsafe scripts". Clicked it and it came up normal now.

looks like problems with their ssl security certificate. It's still there, but parts of the site can't be verified for secure transactions, by default most web browsers these days that try to access https encoding that have issues - simply block you from viewing that site. A lot of "questionable" scam sites have these issues, so your browser thinks PV is bad news right now.
