Press lights-will this work?

I just checked their site and only showed one for the lee automaster. do you have a link where you got it at?

Also, how do you like that case kicker? Thinking about getting one for 9mm.

Oh and how do you like that lee powder thrower? I have the PPM but not a fan of all the plastic.

Its the Standard LED shell plate lighting kit $28. Look under equipment by press brand and scroll down a bit in the LEE category.
Case kicker gets about 1000 thumbs up from me.
The Lee Deluxe PPM is great. Throws everything I use and is accurate, consistent and easier to use than the PPM.

Thanks! I followed a google link earlier and it took me to the loadmaster.

I watched the video on the case kicker its pretty cool I will save up for one. I'm so OCD when it comes to this stuff though I don't know if I could handle not removing the bullet. lol.

The LNL light strip works just fine on the classic turret. I have one on my LCT, mounted just like the photo posted above. I did tie it down with some tiny zip ties in case the adhesive ever gave way.

bright enough? did you mount it on the black post?

Exactly the same one on my LCT...works great....although I did have to use two small wire ties to help hold it on the post

Yes and yes.
Plenty bright. Mounted like in the photo on the back of the black post so it faces the cartridge.
I secured the power wire under the bench so it comes up just under the press near the post. You don’t even notice it’s there.

It doesn't take long to get used to it.

Looks pretty cool. I’m old school. I just use an old clamp on light, clamped on the wall pointed at the top of the case so I can see inside before I put the bullet on top. Not cool, but it works fine. I think I have four of them clamped around my workshop.

I have something like that and it worked great until the batteries died very quickly and I found out it takes like 5 watch batteries that cost what I paid for the light. lol.
You can find plug in versions of this lights at IKEA for less than $20. Clamp on, LED lights. You can see one in the upper left in one of my pics.
Your press should be lit up like an operating room :)

I have a lot of the 12vdc LED strips lights, comes in 5m rolls, $12. I just cut 2 sections (6 leds) and stuck them to the front support and top so I can see the powder with out the light shining toward me. I had several old 12vdc power packs, so all I needed was the plug to match. I use these on my boat, both Bright White and green, water proof. Safer than having the 110v close to you if a wire gets pinched.

I have a handful of presses set up, so I have to use multiple lights. I'm also a bit of a stickler for light - too much light is just as bad as not enough. My reloading area is well lit, so my press lights only have to overcome the shadows of my presses and my hands. For me, more lights are better than less - I want better light dispersion, not just intensity - those bright lights washing out the photos above are just as bad as having the case in the dark. Cheap strip lights work just fine, and I can add them wherever I want.

I got the Hornady light and it wouldn't tape to the post of the LCT but 2 small zip ties hold it perfect and I did a test run and can see perfect in a 9mm case and it only cost me $12. I was a little reluctant it was only for certain presses but a little zip tie and works fine. I do think its got a short in it cause it took a minute for it to come on so ill try it this week and if it keeps cutting in and out ill return it and try something else.

I have a goose neck book light thing now that runs on watch batteries but don't like having it in the way or adjusting it so this thing lights up the whole inside of the press really well.
