Anybody got any info / suggestions on modifying the OEM pressure switch for a Meprolight MOR?

Just got a Tavor and MOR - as everyone's finding out, the OEM pressure switch cable is apparently not long enough to route the cable to the Tavor's foregrip hole made for said switch on USA model Tavors. Maybe the cable is long enough on the Israeli issued Tavors (sans full top rail), but it appears US made Tavors are going to need a longer cable.

Has anybody ever modified a pressure switch as comes on the MOR?
The darn thing looks sealed - I don't know if they guy on eBay spliced wires, somehow opened up the switch, or ?

This fellow on eBay has modified a switch, but he's probably not willing to cough up info on doing so as he's trying to sell?
Here's a link with pix of a modified MOR on eBay:

From his writeup:

LASER PRESSURE SWITCH EXTENDED TO THE OEM FOREGRIP LOCATION
PROFESSIONALY DONE MOD WITH AVIATION-GRADE TEFLON WIRING, HI-TEMP TO 350 DEGREES CELSIUS
PRESSURE SWITCH IS RECESSED AND WORKS GREAT
EASY DIY INSTALL

I've downloaded the Tavor Armorer's Manual, and it does show removing the switch during disassembly, but that's about it.

I've got to tear into the gun to see exactly how the cable needs to be routed - seems you're going to have to make allowances for the charging handle and the barrel - maybe routing the switch down, to the right, then under the barrel or ?
I have yet to see any mention of how cables are routed, etc.

Any help appreciated - still searching bullpup forums, etc, but so far, no luck!

I think I e-mailed both The Mako Group (importers of the Meprolight MOR) and IWI Tavor, but have not received a reply - may try the phone in the next few days?
