Cabela's is selling a 1600 round bulk pack of Federal .22's for $59.97. This is a pretty good price, but at the moment they're also including free shipping, and Federal is giving a $20 rebate.

Even including my local sales tax of 7%, this works out to $13.80 per 500 after rebate (2.7 cents per round), delivered. This is the best price I've seen recently, and I don't even have to leave the comfort of my couch. lol

I guess that was the deal, it included free shipping. After the rebate it would have been $9.37 per 500.

Just received my 2 cases yesterday that I ordered from Palmetto State. The rebate can be fully completed online. Take a few pictures of the receipt, UPC code, front and back of case.

Vances is the LGS in my area. I need to stop there more often. They have flash sales that aren't advertised. Yesterday I got Rem Thunderbolt for $12.99/brick

These are the good days for 22lr. Better stock up while you can. Remember when you couldn't find it for less than $50/brick? Those days will come back again.

Last Sunday (11/18), Academy's ad showed those 1600 rd. boxes for $39.98 after rebate. Couldn't get there until Monday only to be told they had sold out by noon Sunday. A truck would be in Tuesday and might have more on it. Got there by 9 only to be told none came in and none was "in transit".
A relative upstate from me said that Rural King (a regional chain) had advertised the same Federal Black Box (1600 rds.) for about $5 less than Academy. If he was able to get some, I'll get it in about 3 weeks.
