Price check on post 1993 Detective Special...

The threads that came up in a colt search dipped back into 2003-2004 territory pretty quickly; I'm wondering what the current thinking on pricing for really clean specimens of the last-run Colt DS snubbies is among the experts/fans of these revolvers here.

$400-600 depending on your state and condition.

Dr. Rob is right on. The blue book for 2008 lists it at $450 if in 100% condition. Sadly, if you find one it will probably be priced a lot higher than that....

I paid 300 for mine last year in 100% minus the box and tags, had never been fired. I rectified that oversight in short order.

We've all found bargains over the years. Just suggesting you MIGHT need to budget as much as $600 to get this discontinued firearm.
