Price Check S&W 627 V-comp

Got a -3 listed locally 5" V-comp aluminum case and docs 2 sets of grips looks to be polished which I don't care for I haven't seen many of the prelocks for sale asking $900.00 I have a 627PC slabsided and love it any one care to weigh in on the gun and price. I don't have all of the cash but could get the wife to pull some out of the bank on a promise to repay it. I have offered $800.00 but no response is this gun worth $900.00

Picked it up for $850.00 super smooth action, Can't wait to shoot it.

Sounds like its a 627-3 V Comp Jerry Miculek Special from 2000 for RSR Distributors.
These came with an aluminum case and five inch barrel with a removable single port comp and seperate thread protector. The one I saw had Hogue grips as well as the Miculek timber grips. Original retail was probably around $1100, so if its minty then $850 is a pretty good price.

Yes it is the JM special it has the aluminum case, thread protector and docs, moon clips.

It has a extra set of ahrends combat grips no JM grips and has been polished so I may send it back to S&W for the bead blast original finish.
