I have had a hard time getting prices on my two handguns. I own a Glock 19 and a Kimber BP Pro Ten II. I may be getting a job with my County's Sheriff's Department and will be issued a Glock 19. I want to sell/trade both my Glock and Kimber and get a new full size single stack Kimber. But, I do not know much about trade in value on handguns (don't want to get raped when I go to the gun shop and have the guy offer me $150.00 for both). Anyone with a Shooter's Bible or who knows about it, could you please help. My Glock is almost new has a small rub mark on the top of the chamber from where the slide makes contact as well as a couple of rub marks on the top of the barrel (also from the slide). I would think normal wear for a Glock it is not even a year old and has had approx 1000 rounds pushed though. My Kimber is in a little worse shape the blueing in wearing off of the thumb saftey (from shooting and holstering) and the very front of the slide has blueing coming off also (from holstering). I had the Kimber shipped back to be worked on and they changed the barrell and the barrell they put on there is now some corrosion on it. Overall, on a scale of 1 (perfect) to 10 (crap) my Glock is in great shape probalby a 2 or 3 my Kimber maybe a 5 or below. Also my Kimber has had approx 2000 rounds through it maybe more (don't know how much they shot it while it was at Kimber). Anyone who may own a gun shop I would love your input also. Thanks to all who reply.

Check gunbroker and auctionarms to see the latest these are selling for. The problem now is that there seems to be a ton of police trade-in Glocks on the market. Condition of the Kimber will really lower resale value, most shops around here seem to offer 50% or so of what they think they will get for a pistol, sometimes more if they can sell it in a hurry. It may seem low, but they have all the overheads to pay also.

Best bet in my experience is to sell to an individual. Around this are Glocks like your bring aywhere from $300-$375. I dont have any idea about the Kimber havent really kept up with there pricing latley.

You should be able to get around $425 for the Glock 19, and maybe around the same for the Kimber.

The Kimber you have is not that popular of model, but the Glock 19 is in some people's minds the best Glock.

Do the pistols have extra mags, night sites, holsters or other equipment? This would increase their value.

I have 3 high cap mags for my Glock and with my Kimber I have 2 mags a 13 rd and a 10 rd? Will this help?
