I have had a Lee Classic press for nearly a year now, but have never seen a picture of the primer feed system that mounts somewhere on this model press.

Lee does not show it in their catalog or advertisements, what's up with that, are they ashamed of it...come on, Lee, lets see one.

Or, anyone out there got some pictures they can share of the primer (feed) system mounted on the Classic.

Enquireing minds want to know.

There's a primer feed available? This is the 1st I've heard of it. Ah, just checked Midway USA. They say "Coming Soon" and "No picture availble". Must not be out yet.

Well, I was under the assumption that there was one available, heard it somewhere.

On top of the Classic press there are two screw holes, why would they put those there if there wasn't a primer feed system.

I use this press for two things. Swaging swc bullets with a special shortened shellholder head so the ram will reach optimum height to work.

And to size my bullets in a Lee sizer die #90055 set up.

Use a lot of different brands presses for different things, that's my fun in reloading...mostly oldies that really work well for specific task.

My favorite tool is a Lyman All American turret press, it has tremendous strength and is great for working up loads in any caliber. You can find these models on the ebay but they are bringing premo prices from those in the know.

The All American press is a better model than the crap they make today, the Lyman Crusher and turret press made today is not up to quality that the AA possesses.

i do not have one and have not used one, however i have seen pictures. it looked like a reloading die sticking out the top of a single action press. had a primer container much like a primer flipper. oh, like the ones on their auto loaders. i do not know anyone that has one, so all the info i have is what i have seen a pic of. i would think it worked about the same as the one on their progressives

I've used the priming arms with mine because the WSSM cases won't fit in the Auto-Prime. Works pretty well.

As an aside, the way I use the press I think I'll set it up for a lefty because I work the arm with my left arm and do all of the delicate work with my more dexterous right hand. It would go faster if things were on the correct side for that process :)

I have a Lee Classic press and use both the Ram Prime that came with a cheap Challenger press, and the one that feeds primers into a ramp from a dish (I forget what Lee calls it).

I thought that the two screw holes were there to mount a powder measure.

I really think I'm under a wrong assumption that lee has a new auto primer feed system for this press.

But I still don't know what the two screw holes are for on top of the press, all their powder measures so far are related to 7/8X14 thread dies.

But someone said Midway said they was coming soon with a new system???

Anyway, I really like this sturdy press, it works well.

There has been a primer feeder coming out for the Classic Cast since it was first put on the market over a year ago. I remember seeing the large and small primer systems advertised as "Coming Soon" at both Midway and Midsouth (although Midway eventually removed the listing, and now have recently added it back).

I would be interested in something like this also for my Classic Cast. Looking forward to its release.
