Privateer Leather

Here are a couple photos of my new Raider from Privateer Leather.

I've always liked the old Bianchi Askins Avenger but they are long out of production and somewhat hard to find depending on what pistol you're shopping for. This might be the next best thing.

Being new, the holster is quite snug. I know from experience with leather from Wes that it will break in soon and eventually fit the pistol perfectly.

I wish Bianchi still made that.

There are a few mass production holsters currently that are similar but the few I've tried either don't have enough cant or some other flaw that keeps them from being "right."

Wes's work is great. I've got a couple of his Avenger style holsters for 1911 and BHP. His mag pouches are the best too.

The mag pouch I bought to accompany the holster is good stuff. It sits at an angle with the bottom of the mag facing forward. Sort of the reverse of the holster.
