I finally decided to buy myself a used 22 semi auto. I took apart to clean, and once I putback together, it will not cock back. I did not take apart trigger assembly, but once zi put it back on it will not cock back. I'm not a gunsmith. So any advice would help

There are several videos on YouTube showing how to disassemble/assemble .....

You probably just missed something minor ....like putting the spring back in right ....

I have done that a time or so....

Also possible the sear spring is not pointed down toward the trigger. From the guide:
"When replacing the sear/disconnector assembly, be
sure the lower end of the sear spring goes toward
the rear, down the slope of the trigger."

My grandfather has one of these and he bent the sear spring out of shape trying to fix the safety for some reason. I had to find the picture of the right orientation in order to get it fixed.

You are a braver man than I--even my gunsmith declined to work on the 190 I had because it would cost more in labor than the gun was worth was his quote.

Another one in a long line of .22 rifles I don't like to work on. Actually, 10/22's are about the only one I do like to work on.
