Dangit! I guess that means my source for “Saturday Night Specials” just dried up...I found the best ones in the garbage cans near where all the liquor stores and porn shops were.

Does anyone know if there’s a law against me removing those stickers? I could claim I was cleaning up the neighborhood. Ridding the place of “slap tags”...This might just work...

Do you know what is really weird about these stickers. It’s almost like psychological warfare. I am quite sure there has never been a problem of guns in trash cans but someone walking by there, like maybe a Useful Idiot, will see these and in their mind guns ending up in garbage cans is now a very real problem.

once you start posting signs it opens a can of worms. no sign, and that becomes a place for me to dump waste oil, old air conditioners, and asbestos insulation. hey - if they didn't want that stuff they should have posted a sign .. lol

Please folks, do not throw your guns in the garbage. Simply send them to me for proper "disposal".

--seen this morning in woodstock, illinois - exactly where the 1993 movie groundhog day was filmed.

Just sent you all my stolen guns. Good thing too because the FBI showed up just after I shipped them. I said I didn't have any, never have, but I knew someone who had some. However I didn't know their real name or address. They said it was all right, they had your IP already.

I'll just find a garbage can without a no gun sign and it'll be fine, hope theres still one out there :what:.

Yeah, could use some cleaning up.
That particular tag was bolted on, they're serious i guess.

Holy Cow! That sign is bolted on. I thought it was a sticker until you mentioned it.

I just had an alarming thought. That sign makes that trash can a “Gun Free Zone”. It is probably not safe to hang out near garbage cans posted as such. :p

This, this is exactly what it is.

1. Normal people aren’t throwing away firearms in trash cans.

2. IF a gun ends up in a trash can, it’s only because someone REALLY wanted to dump it because it was linked to a crime, and therefor a sign on the trash can isn’t going to divert anyone that is in this position.

This is nothing more than more evil stigma being attached to the firearm and the firearm community. This is an agenda sticker

Right. I was going to hop in there for a snack and a nap but that sign stopped me in my tracks. Oh well, i guess i'll have to check the dumpster behind taco bell to make sure they still take kindly to firearms.

Reminds me of trying to buy a shotgun at Walmart a few years back. The clerk stopped me when I was doing paperwork to tell me about a handgun she literally found on the ground that morning. She asked my advice. I wrote out and handed her a phone number of a police officer I knew. Told her to call and explain it could be evidence of some type.

The stupidity caused me to get frustrated and buy a shotgun elsewhere.
