While he may have the exact same name, his descriptive information may not be anything close to yours.
Place of birth, height, weight, sex, birthdate, ethnicity, race would need to be nearly identical to cause you a delay. This is also the reason that listing your Social Security Number is helpful.
I probably didn’t explain enough.. Many years ago,, at least 15 when I applied for my CCW at the local cop shop,,, I filled out the forms and the Sheriff handed it to his girl to process...He and I were friends so we chatted about sundry topics... I could hear the machine, sounded like on of the olde telex machines going on in the background,,,,,the girl finally came out and said “Sheriff, you’d better look at this”. It was easy three or four full pages, of arrests, convictions, court actions, etc. on this person in Wisconsin, who had the same exact name,,, birth date, and may SS number, the Sheriff teased me cause he know I hadn’t been to Wisconsin on over 30 years....”Well;; Ken, you started out with breaking and entering, then drunk driving, then assualt,,,and so on.,
,Well obviously I didn’t get my CCW that day,, the Sheriff did what he needed to do, and a few days later all was fine,, This person, we never figured out how, had a nice id... this was way before the internet.
When I checked on him recently, no record, so assume he crossed over.
I asked a relative who was into family genealogy and she said she never heard of him..
Also, do we put weight, height and ethnicity on the form??? Not sure;\
