There was a package from Magyar Post awaiting me when I got home last, a set of wraparound Marschal grips I ordered last month for my Polish Tokarev. I ordered off his in-stock page, because I'm impatient. They are designed to duplicate the wraparound grips put on the Hungarian made Tokagypt variant of the TT-33, and also seen on some Chicom production Toks. In fact, before buying the Marschals I first looked for Tokagypt grips or the Chinese copies, but couldn't find any online.

Since the ones I got were built for a Norinco Tok, I had to relieve some of the left panel to accommodate the safety that Century added to my gun. (Tokarevs were not originally made with a manual safety. One needed to be added so that they could be sold as surplus in this country.)

The Marschal grips are nicely finished. They greatly improve the feel of the piece. With the original grips it feels like you're holding a machinist's square, causing it to point low. With the new grips the pistol points more naturally. There is a gap between the panels of about 1/10" in the back. Since they were made for a Chinese gun and mine is Polish, I'm not complaining.

It still fits in the original military full flap holster with the larger grips.

At some point I'll touch up the left panel where I had to sand it but I wanted to try them out tonight. Here’s what it looks like:

In contrast, here’s what it looked like with the original grips. Note the grip angle.

I may not get to shoot it for a few weeks but I can tell I'm going to like the gun a lot more with these grips.

Toks are great guns, but yeah, the grip angle (or lack there of) can sometimes be an issue for shooters.

I've got a 9mm Norinco that will probably last another 200 years or so. I might look into a set of grips like that for mine. Thanks for sharing:)

i got a pair of marschals for my arcus 98dac..huge improvement from those wrap around rubber grips.

i own a half dozen toks i like the grip angle and the standard grips........yours sure looks prettier no doubt though.

They look good. I just picked up my Polish Tok a few weeks ago and have been considering nicer grips as the stock ones are just plain butt ugly. I have bought from Marshcal before and they are really nice. Enjoy.

They make some great grips. I am still trying to figure out what wood I want for my IJ70 Russian Mak. I have some of theirs on my CZ85 and PA63.

They really set off that Tok. Congrats

Greatly improves the look and the grip angle. NICE. I've owned a couple of Chinese 9mm toks in the past. Never liked the grip angle. Super nice there.

I have Marschal grips on my little Radom P64. I can now comfortably shoot it without wearing a shooting glove. That little fart has some kick to it. The plastic grips that came on it were painful.

I can believe that. Makarovs aren't comfortable to shoot w/o aftermarket grips. The P-64 is a lot smaller.

Those grips look very nice on your pistol.

Could you post a picture of how the grips look across the backstrap? I am interested to see how they wrap around.

Thanks for sharing!
