Quality on ironsighter base

Hey Swede,

I have several one piece bases on Rem. 700's but not the one you have chosen. I don't have any functional problems with mine but I live in Texas and don't have to wear heavy gloves or anything while loading my rifles.

At that price level I would not expect it to be of a very high quality, but it should be serviceable. It will probably exhibit a low quality alloy, may even be a casting. Fit and finish may not be what you expect.

As always buyer beware! Shipping internationally, you should make sure it is what you want.

I have a one piece ironsighter base on my .270 Savage 110e and it's very quality and cheaply priced. I'm glad I went with it instead of the EGW(which I have on my .308] for the cutout over the receiver. Tons easier to load

Ok that sounds good. Its cold up here in the winter so yes I use thick gloves. I would like to try it and if the fit isnt perfect i will probebly bed it to the action.
Midway have a "department" in sweden and thats just great. Higher prices than in the us but i dont have to ship international so thats good if i want to return the base. Seems like the ironsighter been in business for a while and it seems to be american made and not chinese junk so i think it will be ok.

Good deal. That's awesome to hear you have a Midway in Sweden! Good luck with your scope installation.
