Any practice session that results in an improvement of your shooting skills is a "quality practice session."
You should decide before going to the range what skill you want to work on and plan your practice around that skill.
If you're not already a member of a range that holds IPSC, IDPA, or CAS competitions, find one and get a membership. The quickest way to improve your shooting skills is to compete. Find the top shooters and find out what they do during their practice sessions and find what works for you.
