I should be receiving a new LnL AP tomorrow and I want to make a mounting block for it tonight to stiffen the table I'll be using. I know the mounting bolts are 5/16", but I need to know the center to center spacing of the holes and the width of the mounting plate on the frame. Thanks!

Actually the holes are 3/8's, at leat on mine, it is a couple of years old. The spacing is

1. Bolt hole center to center is 3-3/4"
2. Side of press to side of press: 4-3/4"
3. Front of bench to mounting holes: 3-1/4"

I don't know if they have changed the measurements in the last couple of years, but this is what mine measured

Be patient. Check it tomorrow and get it perfect.

My bolts are right at 4 to 4 1/8 CTC, but I had to take some material out of the LNL holes because I was mounting it to the same holes my Projector came off of. The Projector has slots instead of holes.

Oh, and 3/8 bolts will fit, and I would use them vs 5/16.

Hmmm. Sounds like I'd better if you guys got two different measurements. I was going to use 5/16" bolts based on what was said in the Hornady video, but 3/8" is even better. I'll go ahead and make the block tonight so I can put a coat of polyurethane on it before I mount the press. I'm using a couple pieces of 3/4" birch plywood, glued and screwed.
If that ain't stiff enough my son's got some 3/8" steel plate and a plasma cutter...

Must be nice to have access to a plasma cutter.

I just hope he finishes his 4x4 project someday so i can have my garage back. :scrutiny:

Got the new LnL AP today. What a machine!
The mounting holes are drilled out big enough that I used 1/2" bolts with room to spare. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the powder measure comes with both rotors, metering inserts and a powder baffle. I'd already ordered a pistol rotor and metering insert, so it'll be going back to Midway. I think I'll exchange it for a Lyman M expander die.

Hun, I guess they started realizing that you need a pistol rotor and just included it :D. Nice. Now only if they will start including a pistol micrometer insert! +1 for Hornady.
