Someone on here(or maybe another board) mentioned having a Uberti Schofield replica modified to shoot 45acp with the use of moonclips. Is this possible? And if so how much would you charge?(ballpark figure)
It is certainly possible, but depending on how it is done the gun may no longer be usable with the .45 Colt. I don't know if they have done any of those guns, but you might give Cylinder and Slide a call at 1-800-448-1713 or check at www.cylinder-slide.com. They do it for swing-out models.
A word of caution, in that the .45 Auto has higher pressure than the old .45 Colt and break top revolvers are rather notorious for shooting loose (the reason no modern break-top has ever caught on).
