I just picked up a CZ52 rifle in 7.62x45. I know that no sell commecial ammo for it. I found online 50 surplus corrisive rounds for $29. Probally could get some to load me 20 non corrivse rounds for around $20. Loading myself is not an option as i have not the time or money to invest in the loading setup( saving up for my 50 upper).
I see that Numerich sells a cartiage convertion kit that will let you shoot 7.62x39 in the gun.
Kit includes: · Chamber conversion sleeve · Headspace/insertion tool · Permanent Loctite · Full instructions.

Has anyone tried this kit? Work good? Can you remove the sleeve?
The price of kit is about the same as 50 rounds of surplus. I have plenty of 7.62x39 to shoot. So this would be the cheapest way to shoot it, but would like to be able to go back to 7.62x45 if i wanted.
Also does anyone know what the threaded barrel was used for? It has a screw om sleeve right know. Muzzle brake or maybe a gernade launcher?
Any info would be appreciated.
