I'm still not seeing the problem, assuming that the account we have is accurate
Thats the problem with general statements, really can’t tell much by them. Certainly can’t tell exactly happened even through the eyes of one of the participants.
“He was acting like”, “said something”, “seemed like”, if you can’t be specific about what actually happened who’s state of mind should we be focusing on?
Even his friend and confidant says he doesn’t take to reason or logic, that’s not much of an endorsement.
