Greetings,
I know for a fact that Speer uses a different style of hollow point in the
"low velocity" short barrel loads, like .38 Special and .45 Auto, than in the regular Gold Dot series. These low velocity hollow points have a flat bottom, as opposed to the classic Gold Dot cone bottom.
My question is what type of bullet does Speer use in the "high velocity" short barrel loads?
Is the 9 mm 124 gr. +P GD SB loaded with the bullet as the normal 124 gr. +P GD?
How about the .44 Magnum 200 gr. GD SB? Is it the same bullet as the .44 Special 200 gr. GD?
