Hey all,
Hope everyone's feeling good.
I'll start by saying I use h110 with relative frequency , it's a powder I'm comfortable with and reasonably familiar. Usually go through about 2# a year, I know it's not a ton but that is enough to know what's appropriate and what to expect .
The thing that seems consistent in load data for h110/w296 is that minimum & maximum charges are pretty close. It's not a powder to download, we all know that.
I was going through some loose sheets of load data I've accumulated over the years and I found the data provided by Oregon trail for their 360 grain gc .452" bullet and found the data interesting . looks like this-
The spread from min to max is 5.5 grains, about 20% or so (not a math guy). My understanding is 10% or so is the most you would ever download h110, maybe I'm wrong on that.
My load for that bullet has always been 25 grains which is good but I obtained that data from another source and the bullet makers data wasn't used at all, I just keep all the load data I cone across. I would have gotten that data about 3-4 years ago so not really old or outdated .
What do you all think of that?
Hope everyone's feeling good.
