I'm thinking about getting a Quick Measure. I have a new LnL on order and I understand the Quick Measure will work on any progressive press. I'm a little confused on how it's actuated. I saw all the brackets and what not on the Quick Measure sight but I don't see how it's triggered. On my Dillon the entire PM is physically lifted and on the LnL the handle is actuated via a linkage...It seems like a lot of money for the Quick Measure progressive mount...It's almost as much as the entire powder measure.

It's only money...maybe I'll get a bail out.

Have you looked at the Lee Auto Disc? I use it on my RCBS 2000 press and LOVE it. Very accurate and very inexpensive. It looks significantly cheaper than the Quick Measure.

In short, don't buy it.

If you have a new LNL AP on order, I suspect you already own a single stage. If that is the case, foot the bill and buy the LNL bushing kit for your single stage press.

Then you can move your PM over to your single stage and quickly setup the drop by hand, very quickly.

I think the LNL bushing is about the best damn reloading invention this side of the progressive press itself. It would have been very gratifying to bring something that simple and profound to the reloading market as an engineer.

There was a guy over on NJ highpower that bought one,, he sent it back,, just wasn't any more accurate than any of the other measures.
