Range Report Kahr PM 9

Took my the gun to the range for the first time today. I put 320 rounds through and the gun performed nearly flawlessly. I experienced only one FTF on the first magazine I fired. Used Fiocchi, PMC, and WWB, and one Box Winchester Ranger JHP 147 grain. Very pleased with the performande of the
gun, and now comfortable carrying concealed. Gun shot very accurately for small, short barrell, 9mm.

Congrats on your new Kahr! The PM9 is an excellent carry piece for sure. Easy to shoot, and easy to carry.

I'm thinking of picking up another PM9. I had one that wouldn't feed Gold Dots, even after a trip back to Kahr, and sold it. I always wanted the DLC finish model with NS, so maybe one day.

I've heard that some PM9's just don't like Gold Dots. Next time I'll try Federal HST or Rem Golden Sabre, both good loads.

Hi, I just got Mine back in January. Had to order it as the LGS didn't carry the PM9 . Got the DLC model and it has no issues with My carry round of 124gr. +P GoldDots. I have not had any failures even during 200 round break in . Up to 400 rounds and carries well in My Com-Tac IWB holster. Very happy with this weapon. Not sure now if I will get night sights or not , I like the stock sights that much.....WVleo

I shoot 124 gold dots and they shoot perfect and are one of the most accurate hp rounds I have shot.

very strange that u had issues with gold dots or for that matter any round as karhs are definitely not ammo sensitive.

With all the ammo variations around, I'm not sure I would peddle a gun because it would not shoot gold dots though. I also love and shoot golden sabres and corbon dpx with ease .
