Just got my RCBS Chargemaster 1500 to go with my scale. Anything I should know to make this thing perform? I've noticed that the scale needs occasional recal. Any tips of tricks anyone wants to pass along?
I think the biggest thing is the same as with a beam scale . .keep it level, keep excess vibrations away from it and make sure you don't have any a/c or heating vents blowing on it. You'd have to pry mine out of my cold dead hands . . I use it alot of times in place of a powder measure. (for up to 100 loads)
I have the Charge Master Combo and love it but I agree keep A/C vents away from it and ceiling fans off they too will affect it. I calibrate it every time I turn it on. The scale is very accurate when compared to a beam scale, I have never found it to be off. I don't even bother to double check it anymore.
