I am just starting to purchase my equipment for reloading.

I am uncertain about the lubing thing, do I need to buy a seperate press for this lubing and resizing ?
OR, can I also powder coat these bullets and then do the resizing in my main press ?
While I still have choice, this can help me safe money hopefully / thanks

There are a few methods of lubing and sizing that only need your regular press. Plenty of people pan lube their bullets, or tumble with something similar to Lee Alox and then size with push through dies like the Lee or the NOE.
I recommend powder coating and using push through dies. That is how all of my cast bullets get processed, usually on my Lee turret press.
If you are only doing a couple calibers, the Lee lube and size kit dies are awesome and each set comes with a tube of Alox if you decide to try that route.
If you are doing a lot of calibers, NOE molds has a push through die that uses interchangeable bushings and is cheaper for a large variety of of bullet sizes.

I tumble lube in Ben's Liquid Lube, size in a Lee push through, and tumble lube a second time. Sounds complicated with the double lubing, but tumble lubing is really, really fast.

That is very enlightning to me here. I tought I needed another single press et. etc. This is the answer on that one. Thank you very much.

Gotcha, no it does not sound complicated, tumble lubing is doing a bunch at once. Thank you for this answer sir.

The downside to this method is that you need a Lee sizing die kit for each diameter you cast for, but they are relatively cheap and fit on any single stage press. Lee will even custom make you a specific size for a little extra scratch, which I did for my 35 Rem. I did not want to powder coat and did not want to have to shell out for a lubersizer, so this was the simplest, easiest way to get it done.

Correct me if I take this the wrong way. But do I hear you saying, the Lee resizer die does ONLY fit in a single stage press ? I purchased a 6 hole Lyman and the dies are supp.fit all presses. I do use the Lee die's indeed. Still not familiar with the resizing die. I immagine that can be ran on a 6 hole turret press just as well right

I know absolutely nothing about more complicated presses. Guessing that if the threads are the same and there is enough clearance for the sizing kit it would work fine, though: https://leeprecision.com/bullet-casting/bullet-sizing-kit/

Some if the older dies (Ideal 310 tong tool for one) did have a special size threads as does one Dillon press. The other modern dies from standard makers are all interchangeable as to the thread size but some are not long enough to work on certain progressive presses. I have not heard of a modern die that would not work on any modern single stage press other those made to fit a Dillon Square deal Press.

I tumble lubed for some years, then switched to powder coat and never looked back. I still have a sealed jug of liquid alox sitting around. :) I powder coat and size with the Lee push through on my single stage, works just fine.

very interesting video, thanks for the effort, great way to get knowledge

Just so you get an idea of how quick this can be, I have about 2100 38 wadcutters cast, lubed and awaiting my attentions with the .358 sizing die. When the garage (where my bench is) rebounds from the single digit weather we had overnight, I will be able to bang all those bullets through the die in an afternoon.
