Re-tasking my Police Positive Special .32-20

Bit of range-time today. The gun is shooting low, so I need to trim the front sight a skosh. These two groups were shot DA at seven yards. The first (upper) group I was trying to use the piece of tape as an aim-point. For the lower group I used the center-hole of the upper group as POA.

This group was 'Panic-Fire;' Single hand, three yards and empty the gun as fast as you can pull the trigger-

I'm like this gun- a lot!

Mr. Pearce, I was once told that .32-20 was a loud cartridge in a pistol. How was when you fired the targets shown here?

I suppose others have said this, but those are very nice grips, and so is the grip adapter. Thanks for putting up fine pictures!

It's louder than a .38 Special, but still not too bad.

Michael you just modify your guns all you want. I love seeing pictures of what you have come up with. Some of my favorite guns are beaters I got for almost nothing that I restored and refinished and made usable guns out of them. I used to do that a lot with BP rifles I would find at a pawn shop that were poorly built kit guns that were fired a few times, never cleaned and sold with dirty barrels. I usually got them for around $50 and I never had a bore that didn't clean up.

I would also do that with RC model airplanes that had been crashed and the owner thought they couldn't be repaired. I would get them out of the trash and rebuild and recover them. Test fly them then hang them in the hobby shop and make a $150 off them. And I had a lot of fun doing it. A mans gotta have projects to work on. It makes us who we are.
