Recommend a scope for my new .22

it is a 3x9x32, with both a AO down to 7 yards, and it is rated
for Adult, spring piston, break bbl rifles. that is outstanding.

I also own that scope. It appears to be a pretty good .22 scope thus far as it's bright, clear and easy to adj. & holds zero well. About the only things negative I have noticed is the cross hairs are a bit thick for target over 25 yards & the adj. obj. measurements don't match up to known yardages. It still adj.'s right in but you can't use as rangefinder for short distance. I think it would make an excellent scope for a squirrel rifle.:)

Over at Rimfire Central, folks seem to love the Weaver T-36. Not cheap (around $400), but those who shoot .22 for precision swear by the Weaver. Me, I use a Tasco Varmint 6-24x42; works OK, but it will be replaced one day soon.

BSA: I have 2 BSAs, and they are actually pretty good if you factor in the price.

BSA Sweet .22, 3-9 w/ A/O has excellent turrets in 36, 38 and 40 grains. This scope tracks flawlessly!! Once a zero of 50 yards is set, the trajectory is near perfect to claims by the manufacturer. Who'd a thunk?!

BSA 36X has some adjustment lag. Once set though, it holds awesome. I have printed several 0.18" groups at 100 yards with my varmint rifle, so the BSA scope must be good quality.

Millett: I also bought a Millett Gold Buck 6-24X44 w/ A/O. It too is a nice scope, but far more expensive, and lacks target turrets.

Pride Fowler Here is my next .22LR scope. Pride Fowler .22LR 6X, w/ trajectory compensated to 200 yards. Link: http://www.rapidreticle.com/22lr6x40.htm
