Record moose with Muzzleloader

Freddy Dodge from the hit reality Gold Rush TV show with his number One Canadian Muzzleloader Moose. Freddy Dodge holds the top two Canadian moose. Freddy Dodge has taken 7 bulls with us and 6 of the bulls have made the book.


When he's not gold mining Freddy shoots shotguns competitively and frequently coaches in that regard. He's a keen hunter and holds the number 1, number 2, and number 3 largest Canadian moose ever harvested with a muzzle loaded rifle.



He made the record book in 2008 and broke his own record in 2018.

Reading the description of the hunt it sounds like $20,000 is not all it cost. There are still added fees for license and royalties. Whatever those are. Sounds like this is just a bit over my budget.

He was using BlackHorn 209 so it is very likely that he used a suppository gun.

Thats funny. I never heard them called that before. And I like ragging on the inlines. But its all good. Shooting is shooting.
